looking over a few friends pages here bummed me out. I could pour my heart into a vector and have like, 70 views....maybe 3 favs. Something that has some really obvious flaws ends up having 150+ views and 20+ favs. Its depressing.

I get 'very nice', others get 'stunning!'.

Its not that I think my stuff is better, per-say, but its a lot harder to do brushed/gradient vectors than it is to do solid colored ones, and I think the outcome comes out much nicer.


....its really the only thing I think Im good at. But apparently no one else thinks so. My vector thread over at AF gets very, very little attention. And I dont understand why. Its not like I vector something because I want to, like some others do. Theres no text over their image, its already a good size and quality, and it doesnt need to have construction done to it. And if construction -is- needed, it simply isnt done. Plus, they add in a gradient bg, which -still- requires anyone who wants to use it to extract the image. Mine are all pngs with transparent bgs. All you have to do is erase my credit info when using it. I do reconstructions. I enlarge and vector. I vector to get rid of text. Stuff so that the scan can be used.

Im not posting anything here or at AF anymore. Im just not. No one notices it anyway, so the hell with it. Everything will be posted at BCL, because anything I post there is looked at and responded to. And its not just 1-2 posts/responds if Im lucky. Its usually about 5+ posts after mine. Ive never had to double post in order to add new work there.

Im done with feeling ignored by my "friends" and peers.

IN OTHER NEWS:
I recently made a RPG on a forum (animeforum.com) and it inspired my buddy Kriten to do an original fan-fic based on it, which she then forced inspiration on her friend to do some sketch work for her, which inspired me to make it a web comic. We have hosting (thank you Shey!) and all that other good stuff, we just need to do some writing and illistrating to get it all together. I'll post another journal when it launches.

Yep, I think Im gonna be making brushes for a while instead of submitting art. Ive already made a set of Disney Princesses, and my next set will be vector brushes. ALL BRUSHES will be for PS 6 and higher =3
